To provide free IT training for underprivileged and disadvantaged people, the Foundation established the Kalam Mondol IT Lab. The training develops practical skills in programming, networking, computer hardware, software, and digital technologies.

The Afsana Khanam Apparel Lab, established by the Foundation in 1998, offers free, hands-on training in garment and tailoring skills for underprivileged women.
The apparel training programs develop practical skills in garment measurement, pattern making, cutting, sewing, fitting, finishing, sewing machine operation, and workplace safety. The courses are suitable for learners who want to work in the apparel industry, establish a tailoring business, or become self-employed.
Participants receive practical training using sewing machines and other essential equipment. They learn how to produce properly fitted and well-finished garments while maintaining accuracy, quality, workplace discipline, and professional production standards. After completing the training, graduates can pursue employment in garment factories, tailoring shops, fashion houses, apparel production facilities, or establish their own tailoring businesses.
SIMEC Foundation’s Language Training programs help learners develop the communication skills required for education, employment, professional development, and international opportunities.
The Japanese Language courses introduce learners to Japanese vocabulary, grammar, reading, writing, listening, and everyday conversation. The N5 course develops foundational language skills, while the N4 course helps learners progress to a higher level of understanding and communication.
